The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 is simply the most expensive luxury cars in the world with a price tag of USD$1.7 million. The car was named after Pierre Veyron, a racing car driver for the original Bugatti firm, who won the 24 hours of Le Mans in 1939. The car is built by the Bugatti Automobiles SAS, a subsidiary company of Volkswagen AG. The expensive price tag goes together with its powerful performance with a top speed of 400 km/h.
